It comes from East Asia.
- HEIGHT: up to 3.5 meters.
- HARVEST: Summer on trees 3 years and older.
- LEAVES: large, glossy, green.
- ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: ideally it needs temperatures between 24-32 o C and enough exposure to the sun (8-12 hours daily). It prefers well-drained soils, which do not retain water and with a pH of around 5.5-7. Over-irrigation should be avoided and for successful fruit, 10-10-15 or 10-10-20 type fertilizers should be preferred.
- FOR INDOOR SPACE: in winter it needs care like other indoor plants. Place it in a place with relatively high humidity.
