Product description
PENDULUM MULBERRY is a variety obtained by grafting the hanging species Morus nigra on the natural mulberry. This is offered with trunks of different heights from which the foliage falls and has the notable advantage of limiting the final height and overall dimensions of the plant.
Sweet black berry with light acidity.
Dimensions: starting from the grafting height, it tends to rise slightly, a maximum of two meters after twenty years.
Flowers: late spring.
Fruits: medium, red, dark red, sweet and aromatic.
Ripening: between July and August.
Soils: prefers moderately fertile, moist but well-drained soils.
Position: sun.
Exposure: best if sheltered from the winds.
Pruning: in late fall or early winter, remove unruly branches. Supports rejuvenation pruning
